Public utilities sector ETF soared an excellent 3.05% this week. Early April XLU boosted an amazing 14.86% in just one week. Late March XLU plummed a bloodcurdling -7.51% in just one week.

If you observe the weekly chart, price is in a simple uptrend, tested $53.66 level and now climbing back aiming its last top at $61.78. Not so far away is the last price record Public utilities sector ETF marked by mid February, but since then it dropped a 19.77%. Since early March, when XLU stock price broke down the 40-weeks moving avarage line, it slid $-9.96 per share (-14.99%). Trading stocks that are under the 40-weeks (that is, 200-days) moving average line is not recommended by many experts, as it indicates that the stock has not enough institutional support.
